Director's Cut vs. Cinema Version

The Cinema Version was nice, but cut to make the movie pass under a lower rating. The Director's Cut however contains some nice additional scenes, especially some nice scenes with Vaako (most of them with Dame Vaako). In case you are wondering here is a short run down on them.

Vaako talking to Riddick
In the Director's Cut Vaako speach about who the Lord Marshal is, is longer by a half-sentence - "... and returned with powers you can`t imagine."

Visiting the Quasi-Deads

In the Director's Cut we have an additional shot of Vaako and Dame Vaako as they are observing Riddick being questioned.

Extended Plotting between the Vaakos

The Cinema Version is rather short on this one. We see Vaako hitting Dame Vaako who is then using all of her femine powers trying to persuade her husband into killing the Lord Marshal. Then she is suggesting to give him a blow-job on the throne. But as they arrive we see that Marshal and Aeron are already there.

More information

In the Cinema Version, we got Aeron doing most of the explanation, in the Director's Cut Dame Vaako passed on what she found out via the quasi-dead to Vaako who is already on route to Crematoria.

Fight on Crematoria

Some additional shots of Vaako, for example taking his time to aim at Riddick.

Doubts on Riddick's Death

After his decoration Vaako expresses his doubts whether Riddick is really dead.

Last Words

In the cinema version Vaako says "You keep what you kill" while in the Director's Cut the lines go to Riddick.
